About Us

Hey y’all! We’re thrilled to share a little about our family and our ranch.

I was born and raised on a small farm in southern Illinois, surrounded by pigs, horses, chickens, goats, and fields of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. Summers were spent on my aunt and uncle’s dairy farm in Ireland — learning to milk cows, feed calves, and immerse myself in the daily rhythm of a working herd. Those experiences cemented my love for animals and my belief that good food begins with healthy soil and healthy livestock.

After college I met my husband, and together we built a successful powersports business for more than a decade. But when 2020 turned the world upside down, we realized what we really wanted: to get back to the land and raise food the right way. So we packed up, moved west, and bought a ranch in Wyoming to start over.

Today at The Hufeisen Ranch we’re writing a new chapter. We raise regeneratively managed Fullblood Wagyu cattle, Icelandic sheep, heritage poultry and honey bees. Every day we work side by side as a family to care for our animals and restore our land.

And we’re not just raising Wagyu — we’re rebuilding it. We’ve begun revamping our herd to produce the largest, highly marbled Wagyu cattle in the industry. Our cornerstone embryo donor cow weighs an impressive 1,800 lbs and is being bred to some of the most original Japanese foundation sires — Itozuro Doi, Hirashigatayasu, Itoshigefuji, Itomichi 1/2, Tajimax and Shigefuku — to bring back the balance of size, structure and marbling that made Wagyu famous.

We manage our pastures regeneratively, finish our animals on a non-GMO fermented grain ration that mimics their natural diet, and never use glyphosate, soy or antibiotics. The result is nutrient-dense beef with beautiful, clean marbling — closer to Japan’s A3 profile than the heavy A5 feedlot fat most Americans imagine when they hear “Wagyu.”

Through our farm-to-fork online shop we ship these products nationwide so you can enjoy them at home. Every steak, roast and box that leaves our ranch represents our family’s dedication to animal welfare, soil health and honest food.

Thank you for being part of our story. Together we can celebrate the beauty of agriculture, cherish the flavors of nature, and support a truly sustainable future — from our pastures to your plate.
